Yesterday, the National Park Service announced three weekends this summer where visitors and residents can explore their local National Parks, fee-free. The weekends are: June 20-21, July 18-19, and August 15-16.
Of the 391 National Parks in the US, 147 charge entrance fees ranging from $3 – $25, and these fee-free weekends offer a budget-friendly way to get out and vacation with your friends and family, and help local businesses thrive at the same time. For a full list of participating parks, you can visit the National Park Service website.
