Both the Brandywine Valley and Bucks County are gaining increasing respect as East Coast producers of quality wine, and visiting just one, or several, of the area wineries is a lovely way to spend a day. You’ll pass rolling farmlands, quaint towns, antiques shops, restaurants, and historic inns and bed-and-breakfasts as you drive between wineries. Each winery is different in size, style, and varieties of wine produced, and each has its own story. All are relatively small, making for an intimate visit, and many are family-owned-and-operated.

Most of the area wineries are part of Brandywine Valley Wine Trail or the Bucks County Wine Trail, and many offer wine tastings and winery tours for free or a small fee. Winery hours change seasonally, so check the websites below before visiting.
