The Bike Trail is a 20-kilometer (12.5-mile) paved trail designed especially for bicycles that begins behind the Visitor Information Centre and follows Lower Kananaskis Lake to Mount Sarrail Campground. Many other trails are designated for mountain-biking use; inquire at the Visitor Information Centre (403/591-6344).
Boulton Creek Trading Post (403/591-7058) rents mountain bikes during summer. Upper and Lower Kananaskis Lakes have fair fishing for a variety of trout and whitefish. A nightly interpretive program takes place in campground amphitheaters throughout Peter Lougheed Provincial Park. Look for schedules posted on bulletin boards, or check with the Visitor Information Centre.
