The municipal Teatro 3 de Febrero (25 de Junio 60, tel. 0343/423-5701) has offerings ranging from live theater and film to art exhibits. For current commercial movies, try the Cine Rex (Monte Caseros 266, tel. 0343/423-3222).
The sight of teenagers in Little League uniforms seems incongruous in soccer-mad Argentina, but for decades the diamond at Estadio Ingeniero Nafaldo Cargnel, near the Santa Fe tunnel entrance, has hosted slow-pitch and fast-pitch softball tournaments, including the 1995 Pan American Games. Adult leagues also play here and at the city’s seven other fields.
