Metro Gallery began as a basic art gallery; it’s since evolved into a performance space and bar, and a great place to see some of the town’s best new young bands. It’s a nice big room, which hosts readings and art performances in addition to visual artworks.
Best of all, there’s a great big picture window behind the bands that let crowds watch the traffic on busy Charles Street blur by (though sometimes the management shuts the drapes) as the music plays.
