Owned by the man behind the popular Nick’s Oyster Bar in Federal Hill’s Cross Street Market, this peculiar restaurant and watering hole is a short drive south of that neighborhood in an industrial area of the waterfront that doesn’t get much tourist traffic. This bright yellow seafood house is popular with the young drinking enthusiast set and can get boisterous at night—but it’s also a great place for an outdoor lunch with a view of the Hanover Street Bridge.
The menu isn’t noteworthy in concept or execution, so stick with the basics. After all, you’re here for some cocktails and a bite to eat on the big deck, and to get the feel of being far from downtown—which is only a five-minute drive north.
