If getting glammed up and hitting the bars for a big night out with the city’s young and restless is what you’re looking for, this homey haven for reporters is not the place for you.
Populated with foreign and local journalists drinking beer at a bar that looks like it was plucked from a 1980s television set, the FCCT is more a place to go for a quiet drink and some good conversation about politics or current events in Southeast Asia.
There are also revolving photography exhibits lining the walls, frequent talks, and foreign-film screenings; be sure to check the website for the schedule.
