Ratchada-Lad Phrao Night Market
Trip Ideas
Ratchada-Lad Phrao intersection
subway: Lad Phrao or Ratchadapisek
HOURS: Sat. 7-11:30 p.m.
This local market near the large Lad Phrao mall is very popular among teens and twentysomethings and is a fun scene to check out even if you’re not shopping.
If you are buying, though, you’ll find lots of stalls offering cheap, clothing, shoes, and handbags for young people, as well as some fun and funky decorator items for the home.
The most interesting stalls are the ones with the second-hand stuff. The mix of old music, old housewares, old clothes, and old furniture makes it feel like a flea market and there are sometimes vintage motorcycles, too.
There are some stalls selling smoothies spiked with local liquor, so you can make a night of it instead of just a shopping trip.
