Beijing’s best stocked whiskey bar is a rare beacon in a city that subsists on a diet of Johnnie Walker and Jameson. Using Japanese mixology techniques and handcrafted ice, Glen’s bar staff are meticulously trained in the art of pouring their single malts.
The bar is named after the many “glen” varieties of Scotch whiskey, like Glenfarclas, Glenfiddich, and Glenmorangie.
The interior of the bar is comfortable and just dark enough to make you feel as if you’re in a cozy British pub (although way fancier). The green velvet bucket seating is a nice touch, as is the artwork on the walls.
