Hotel bars often suffer from a distinct lack of character, but Redmoon at the Grand Hyatt is a striking exception. The walls are lined with shelves of wine bottles and a fire burns in a contemporary hearth in winter.
Take a seat on one of the sumptuous red and purple sofas or chairs and choose from a menu of sushi (with hand-grated wasabi) to accompany your wine (of which there are 20 varieties served by the glass, and many more by the bottle).
Attention to detail and excellent service, along with a dedicated cigar lounge and stylish atmosphere, make Redmoon extra special. It’s a favorite among visiting businesspeople, but the atmosphere is far from corporate.
