Trends by name and trendy by nature, this stylish café and lounge is run by the Trends media group that has its offices in the same building. Curved white bookcases run from floor to ceiling, and chairs, tables, and counters are dotted around.
With a selection of English books and Western magazines to read and buy, tote bags, notebooks, and other hip accessories for sale, and some surprisingly tasty food on offer, Trends attracts the wealthier bohemian sort.
The well-priced menu focuses on Chaozhou food from Guangdong Province (although there are Western options too).
