A great budget option, this youth hostel has a prime location and an excellent rooftop bar where you can soak up the skyline view without shelling out too many red hundreds. The hostel’s naval theme is more than just a gimmick; it’s a tightly run ship—clean and well kept, with friendly staff.
The lobby downstairs is home to the hostel’s information desk and café and is where guests gather for breakfast. The food doesn’t claim to set the culinary world alight, but it’s more than decent for the price.
Captain Hostel is one of the bigger downtown hostels, but it’s also one of the most popular, so book ahead if you can.
