One of the highest hotels in the world, the Grand Hyatt takes up the 53rd to 87th floors of the Jin Mao Tower. The rooms are laid out around a central atrium that makes for a vertiginous view from any of the lobbies.

Each room measures a minimum of 40 square meters (430 sq. ft.) and contains an LCD television, marble bathroom, art deco-style interior design, and a panoramic view of the city. The hotel’s food and beverage venues are destinations in themselves, like the Cloud 9 Bar, Kobachi Japanese restaurant, and the 24-hour Grand Café buffet.

The Grand Hyatt is a luxurious choice and you’ll pay top dollar for it.
