This small, white-fronted boutique sells unique, NuoMi’s style is sophisticated-casual, rather than hippy-dippy, and prices reflect the quality. It’s great for items like plain T-shirts, neutral-colored cardigans, and quirky skirts.
The brand has grown to five branches since 2006 and is managed by Filipina fashion designer Bonita Lim who was honored as “most stylish woman” at the 2009 Asian Tatler Ball.
NuoMi means sticky rice in Mandarin, which is a reference to Bonita’s grassroots charitable work with developing countries.
