1117 Zhaojiabang Lu, near Caoxi Beilu
21/5490-5900
HOURS: Daily 10 a.m.-8 p.m.
METRO: Xujiahui (Line 1, 9)
This three-story electronics emporium sells every imaginable device, cable, screen, and screw, across a warren of stalls and vendors. All the major international brands are represented, along with some that look familiar but are clever fakes.
Use your intuition when it comes to weeding out the dodgier deals and be sure to haggle on prices. If you go for repairs, don’t agree to leave your device at the shop; unscrupulous vendors may switch all the internal parts for fakes before handing it back.
If you don’t find what you’re looking for, there’s always Metro City down the road at 1111, which has a Starbucks, Haagen-Dazs, and several restaurants.
