All regional tour operators in Orange Walk, Corozal, and Belize City offer tours to Lamanai. Ask about night safaris, bird-watching tours, and sunrise trips up and down the New River. Most hotels can arrange tours with licensed guides. Most tours include entrance fee, drinks, and a catered lunch as part of the deal; prices range US$40–60 per person.

Freddy Gomez, owner of Transport Services (21 St. Peters St., tel. 501/322-2037 or 501/609-9641), has a 15-passenger van and a Crown Vic and is a highly knowledgeable guide who can arrange insightful tours anywhere in Orange Walk District. Elvis Usher (tel. 501/669-6686, elvisusher31 [at] hotmail [dot] com) is another notable guide and is available for group or private tours.

Jungle River Tours (20 Lovers Ln., tel. 501/302-2293 or 501/615-1712) is the oldest operating guide service, with a reputation for giving the best tours of Lamanai. Jungle River boats leave from a landing near the historic La Inmaculada Catholic Church.

Errol Cadle Eco Tours (errolcadle1 [at] yahoo [dot] com) is a top-notch guide service and will cater to travelers who wish for a less frenetic pace when it comes to their boat trips; meals and drinks are provided.

Lamanai EcoAdventures (tel. 501/322-3653 or 501/610-1753) also has a dock just south of the Tower Hill Toll Bridge, as does New River Cruises.
