Office workers line up weekdays at lunchtime for burgers, sandwiches, and friendly chit-chat at DeGraff’s Lunch Wagon (City Hall carpark, tel. 441/799-3904, 9 a.m.–3 p.m. Mon.–Fri.).
Jor-Jay’s Takeout (Front St., in the carpark opposite The Supermart, tel. 441/296-3114, 8 a.m.–3 p.m. Mon.–Thurs., 8 a.m.–4 a.m. Fri., 11:30 a.m.–4 a.m. Sat.) is very popular with hungry late-night revelers on their way out of town. The lunch wagon makes scrumptious homemade burgers, sandwiches, fries, and fish cakes, and although the wait is sometimes a good half hour, it’s worth it.
Keith’s Kitchen (48 Woodlands Rd., at BAA carpark, tel. 441/295-1310) is a convenient stop for thick tuna sandwiches, BLTs, and straight-off-the-grill burgers.
