Bermuda is on Atlantic Standard Time, one hour ahead of Eastern Standard Time (Toronto, New York, and U.S. East Coast cities) and four hours behind Greenwich Mean Time. Daylight saving time is observed, with clocks jumping forward an hour each spring and back in the fall. DST stepped in line with U.S. energy-saving measures in 2007, starting in mid-March and ending in early November. Dawn varies between 6:15 a.m. in the summer and 7:30 a.m. in winter, and dusk falls between 5:15 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. depending on the time of year.
