Based at the Fairmont Southampton Resort, Sea Venture Watersports (Waterlot Inn Dock, Jews Bay, Middle Rd., tel. 441/238-6881, www.jetskibermuda.com) offers an adrenaline-packed way to see Bermuda from the water by Jet Ski, water skis, wakeboard, or tube. Skiboat charters with a captain/instructor cost $170 per hour. Polaris and Yamaha personal watercraft rentals (the driver must be 16 or older) cost between $115 (one hour) and $300 (half day), with higher rates for two- and three-person vehicles.
Two-hour and half-day personal watercraft tours around the West End, Great Sound, and myriad islands between can also be arranged. Instruction is provided for novices. Reservations are suggested, and rentals must be secured by credit card.
