Shasta Lake Marinas

Most of the marinas inhabiting the Shasta Lake shores provide all the rentals and services you’ll need while on the lake. If you’ve got a vacation rental or a campsite on or near the lake, you’ll probably want to pick one of the marinas near your lodgings for convenience. (Shasta Lake really is that big and definitely that spread out.)
But not all marinas offer public gas docks or public launch facilities, and one or two of them are primarily maintained for the owners of private slips. Just be sure that the marina nearest to home has everything you need—including a good reputation!
The marinas listed here offer a variety of amenities and services appropriate for a day on the lake.
Note: Folks staying up at the north end of the Sacramento River Arm of the lake might be tempted to rent from the wide selection of boats available at Antlers Marina and Resort. Resist that temptation if you’re looking for a peaceful vacation without frustration, irritation, and angst.
Unfortunately, Antlers is regarded by many respectable California publications as the worst marina anywhere on the lake and renters are advised to look elsewhere when possible.
