Wilshire Boulevard

Though the most famous stretch of Wilshire Boulevard runs through Beverly Hills, in truth this major artery reaches from Downtown L.A. all the way out to the coastline (almost) of Santa Monica. If you drive the whole thing, you’ll travel 16 slow miles along the densely populated, totally developed strip.
Along the way, you’ll travel the Miracle Mile, pass the Regent Beverly Wilshire Hotel and the La Brea Tar Pits, see the main drag in Koreatown, and whiz past MacArthur Park.
You can spend more than a day touring L.A. just by making your way from one end of Wilshire to the other, stopping at the dozens of sights and landmarks as you go.
