With its endless sunshine, temperate water, and magnificent breaks, San Diego offers some of the best surfing in California. You can surf year-round down here, though San Diego is not the South Pacific and wet suits can be a good idea in winter.
If you’re already an experienced surfer, head straight for San Diego’s best breaks. If you’re looking to paddle out for your first time, check into one of these surf schools.
