The appropriately situated Tech Museum of Innovation (201 S. Market St., 408/294-8324, www.thetech.org, Mon.–Wed. 9 a.m.–5 p.m., Thurs.–Sun. 9 a.m.–8 p.m., $8) brings technology of all kinds to kids, families, and science lovers. The interactive displays at The Tech invite touching, letting children explore and learn about medical technology, computers, biology, chemistry, physics, and more using all their senses.
The IMAX theater shows films dedicated to science, learning, technology, and adventure. The standard museum ticket price includes an IMAX show, and the long daily hours allow both early birds and night owls to get their learning on at The Tech.
