At the Glen Ellen Inn Restaurant (13670 Arnold Dr., Glen Ellen, 707/996-6409, www.glenelleninn.com, Fri.–Tues. 11:30 a.m.–9 p.m., $20), haute California cuisine meets small town kitsch. You’ll find this self-described oyster grill and martini bar’s dining room inside a cute low building in the tiny hamlet of Glen Ellen. In addition to the seafood-heavy gourmet menu, the Glen Ellen Inn boasts a full bar and a wine list worthy of its location.
Despite its Hispanic name, the cuisine at Dóce Lunas (8910 Sonoma Hwy., Kenwood, 707/833-4000, www.docelunasrestaurant.com, Wed.–Sat. 11:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m. and 5–8:30 p.m., Sun. 10 a.m.–2:30 p.m. and 5–8:30 p.m., $17–20) has a distinct Wine Country flare. Downstairs, enjoy a delectable meal in a country-style dining room. Upstairs, take a ramble through the Dóce Lunas antique store, which sells country-style kitsch and collectibles.
