Part wine bar, part retail shop, The Wine Room is a surprising find tucked away in an upscale strip mall. The wine bar has a selection of 20 different wines from around the world and a small but thoughtful appetizer menu ($5–8). The servers are masters at offering suggestions for choosing wines and small plates that complement each other.
In the warmer months, the enormous outdoor patio is the place to be. Frequent special events like wine tastings, live music, and trivia nights draw a regular crowd. The retail store offers all of the things you’d expect: bottled wines, glassware, and wine accessories.
