ImaginOn just might be the coolest library around. It was developed in partnership with the Public Library of Charlotte and Mecklenburg County to offer traditional library services alongside educational exhibits and a high-tech learning center.
Studio i invites kids to stretch their creative muscles to make animated and live-action videos using claymation, shadow puppet animation, and other video techniques. A state-of-the-art sound-recording booth lets the next generation of moviemakers and musicians create high-tech recordings that can be uploaded to the Internet or burned onto DVDs.
The Charlotte Children’s Theatre is also housed at ImaginOn, offering classes for blossoming thespians and staging performances in the on-site theater.
