One of the Barrio Estación’s anchors, 30 y Tantos (Arturo Prat 402, tel. 0412/251516) is lively even on weeknights, with informal, eclectic decor—note the Three Stooges photo gallery—and recorded music. There are also 21 varieties of fried empanadas, the only item on the food menu, for US$2 each.
Many locales here come and go; of a dozen or more bars and discos, the survivors are Sandunga (Prat 438, tel. 0412/240232), Tablón (Prat 528), and Choripán (Prat 546).
