West of El Calafate en route to Moreno Glacier, Estancia Alice (Ruta Provincial 11, Km 22) is open for day tours that may include breakfast and outdoor activities such as birding and horseback riding, as well as exhibitions of sheep herding and shearing, afternoon tea, and a barbecued-lamb dinner. Morning excursions with lunch cost around US$26 per person, afternoon excursions with dinner around US$36, horseback rides around US$7 per hour. Transportation to and from the farm costs US$4 per person.
