Thirsty? One ticket to the Great American Beer Festival is a pass to try as many one-ounce samples of over 1,800 beers as possible in one evening. It might sound like a bad frat party idea, but this is a truly serious beer competition held every October.
It’s basically the Beer Olympics, and the brewers and tasters mean business.
Though the Great American Beer Festival is only three days, there is a whole week of related activities around town. The festival is now featured in the book 1,000 Places to See Before You Die.
