A couple of blocks from the Pearl Street Mall, the Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art (1750 13th St., 303/443-2122, www.bmoca.org, Tues. and Thurs.–Fri. 11 a.m.–5 p.m., Wed. 11 a.m.–8 p.m., Sat. 9 a.m.–4 p.m., Sun. noon–3 p.m., $5 adult, $4 senior and student, free under age 12) is in a great location next to the Dushanbe Teahouse and Boulder Creek.
The Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art includes three galleries and a small black-box theater where regional, national, and international contemporary visual and performing arts are showcased year-round. This is also a popular special events venue, so be sure to check the schedule before stopping by.
