Mad Greens is located on the ground floor of the Museum Residences, which were designed by architect Daniel Libeskind in conjunction with his addition to the Denver Art Museum.

Mad Greens is primarily a casual salad restaurant with specialty salads as well as “build your own” options. There is a cafeteria-style line for ordering; the set up—and decor—are nearly identical to many burrito joints, where diners watch their food being made behind glass and give instructions as to which ingredients get piled on.

The restaurant has a sleek, clean style that attracts businesspeople from the neighborhood on weekdays. In addition to the salad options, they also have panini sandwiches, soup, and a kids menu that includes mac ’n’ cheese and grilled cheese. This is a quick, healthy, and pretty affordable place for lunch—and even a glass of wine.
