For a quick lunch to go or a no-frills lunch, The Market is an old Denver favorite. In good weather the outdoor café tables along the storefront and perched on the curb across the sidewalk are always occupied. The Auraria Campus is a couple of blocks away, and the Market’s clientele is a blend of students, businesspeople, and tourists.
As Larimer Square has evolved into more of a tourist destination in the past 20 years, the Market has stayed the same. They offer hot and cold deli items, sandwiches, and ample-sized sweets all day long—their Spring Fling cake is a favorite.
