Rockmount Ranch Wear is famous for a lot of things: the founder and owner, affectionately called “Papa Jack,” who worked daily at the store until he died in 2008 at 107 years old, the original snap-front cowboy shirts, the celebrities and rock stars who have bought many of Rockmount’s ornate cowboy shirts, and the legacy of being in business in the same historic building since 1946.
Another strange fact: One of Rockmount’s bestsellers these days is a T-shirt featuring a bucking bronco rider in men’s, women’s, and children’s sizes and styles.
