Tegucigalpa offers two nine-hole courses. The Tegucigalpa Country Club (tel. 504/227-4546) is nothing fancy, at all, but is conveniently located just off Boulevard Fuerzas Armadas in the western end of the city.
The more pleasant Villa Elena (tel. 504/224-0400) is a half an hour outside of town on the road to San Pedro Sula, and has a swimming pool, a poolside restaurant, and somewhat run-down tennis courts as well.
