In a playful jab to its pricey counterpart, the Un-Plaza Art Fair in mid-September represents more than 85 artists in a laid-back environment.
Although the fair is a juried art show, a lack of entry fee makes the fair more accessible to up-and-coming artists.
Proceeds from the event benefit Peaceworks KC, an entirely volunteer-run organization that, simply, works for peace.
Programs that benefit from Peaceworks’ funding include Adopt-A-Minefield, Unitown, and peace studies scholarships available through Park University and Avila University.
