After The Quarterage Hotel changed hands in 2007, a thorough “greenovation” transformed the boutique hotel into The Q, Kansas City’s first green hotel and spa. Numerous earth-friendly practices, including water conservation, hotel recycling, and EnergyStar lightbulbs and thermostats significantly reduce the hotel’s carbon footprint without compromising luxury and amenities.
Several types of rooms are available, including a honeymoon suite, business queen, deluxe double, and a two-room balcony suite that offers panoramic views of the surrounding Westport neighborhood. High-definition flat-screen TVs, in-room MP3 players, Turkish cotton linens, and Aveda bath products complete the relaxing experience.
