The interactive exhibits at Union Station’s Science City are so entertaining that your kids will have a hard time believing they’re learning as they explore a variety of science-related topics, including space travel, dinosaurs, astronomy, and more.
Dig for fossils, or test your skills at landing a space shuttle using a NASA-style simulator. Children ages three to six can access the Half Pint room, which changes programs monthly to offer a new area of exploration.
Guided programs are available on Thursdays, and the Half Pint room is also open for drop-ins during general hours. Topics include mixtures and solutions, messy science, and how cold is cold.
