In addition to the concerts at Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun, downtown Norwich has several bars and clubs that feature live music. The star attraction is Club Ballaro (276 Main St., Norwich, 860/889-9387), which has two floors of dancing and sometimes rock bands.
Attached to an Italian restaurant, Bella Notte (543 W. Thames St., Norwich, 860/887-1944, 5 p.m.–1 a.m. Tue.–Fri.; 5 p.m.–2 a.m. Sat.–Sun.) hosts DJs and live music acts that cater to a local crowd.
