Biking

Despite the hills (or because of them) there are many fine routes here for bikers. Beebe River Road is an easy ride over a covered bridge and along a former railroad bed that traces the river; it starts at the Town Hall in Campton.

Mountain bikers should head for the more challenging territory of the Greeley Ponds Trail, which climbs the flank of Mount Osceola and offers views of the Mad River and beaver ponds. Even more challenging is the Timber Trail that spurs off of the pond trail for a vertiginous climb rewarded with views of Mount Kancamagus, Mount Tripyramid, and the Painted Cliffs.
