A treat for foodies, this beautiful 20,000sq ft facility houses a tempting gift shop with unique trinkets for culinary minded visitors, an exhibit room dedicated to the history of New York’s culinary, wine and agriculture industries trimmed in wood reclaimed from century-old redwood wine barrels, glass-walled educational theatre where classes and demos in progress can be observed and the occasional food show program is filmed, an impressive Tasting Center featuring the state’s finest wines and beers in a warm wood and stone setting and The Taste of New York Restaurant, where locally farmed ingredients come together in excellent meals with suggested wine and beer pairings to bring out the fullest flavors of the food.

Live music makes weekend evenings a great time to visit for beer lovers as a rotating selection of eleven brews, chosen from New York’s 60 craft breweries, are featured on tap (flight tasting available), as well as 20 bottle choices from the state.
