Rogue Ales Public House (748 SW Bay Blvd., 541/265-3188, 11 a.m.–1 a.m. Sun.–Thurs., 11 a.m.–2 a.m. Fri.–Sat., $7–15) is along the bay in Old Town, serving seafood salads, shrimp-melt sandwiches, pizza, fish-and-chips, and seasonal fish dishes. In addition to the renowned Rogue ales, there’s Rogue’s draft root beer, a creamy concoction laced with honey and vanilla.

Another Rogue Ales brewery, called Brewers on the Bay (2320 OSU Dr., 541/867-3660, 11 a.m.–9 p.m. Sun.–Thurs., 11 a.m.–10 p.m. Fri.–Sat., $7–15), is across Yaquina Bay near the Oregon Coast Aquarium. This is where the actual brewing is now done; tours are available at 3 p.m.

Rogue’s third local outlet is the Rogue House of Spirits (2122 Marine Science Dr., 541/867-3670, noon–8 p.m. Thurs.–Sun.), a distillery pub that produces rum, gin, vodka, and whiskey. The menu here is less extensive than at Rogue’s brewpubs, and features excellent cheese from Central Point, Oregon’s Rogue Creamery. Tours are offered at 4 p.m. daily.
