Fifth Street Public Market

The past and the present happily coexist a few blocks from Skinner Butte’s south flank at the Fifth Street Public Market (296 E. 5th Ave.), an old-time feed mill converted into an atrium. This rustic structure houses an impressive collection of specialty stores and restaurants surrounding an open-air courtyard. This courtyard is a favorite haunt of sun worshippers, people-watchers, and street performers.
Note: Although the market bears the word street in its name, it is actually located on East 5th Avenue and High Street.
