Our favorite lodging in Andahuaylas is Hostal Delicias (Juan Francisco Ramos 525, tel. 083/42-1104, US$6 s, US$9 d), a simple but clean place with pleasant lúcuma-colored walls, hot water, tile floors, and nice furniture.
Considerably farther down on the food chain is Hostal Cusco (Pedro Casafranca 520, tel. 083/42-2148, US$4 s, US$7 d), offering simple, small rooms with electric shower heads. Rooms without private baths are even cheaper.
Other, lesser budget options, such as Hostal Los Libertadores Huari and Hostal Las Americas, are down the street.
The most luxurious hotel is El Encanto de Oro Hotel (Pedro Casafranca 424, tel. 083/72-3066, US$14 s, US$18 d with breakfast), with great beds, tons of hot water, and cable TV. A generous breakfast is served in a fourth-story restaurant overlooking the city.
Similar in quality is Sol de Oro Hotel (Juan Antonio Trelles 164, tel. 083/42-1152, US$14 s, US$18 d), with large, comfortable rooms and parquet floors.
