The lovely little Dhyana Yoga Studio is a bright and airy oasis in the middle of metropolitan Philadelphia. Hardwood floors, two full walls of windows, and a few Buddha sculptures create a simple, soothing atmosphere.
There are five classes a day in a variety of yoga styles, from free meditation classes to advanced Vinyasa and even Kundalini. Most classes begin with a Sanskrit chant and end in shivasana (final relaxation pose).
Check the website for the frequent workshop offerings in areas like Thai massage and partner yoga. A single class costs $15 and several packages are offered for repeat visits.
