Located in leafy Fairmount Park, the Mann Center provides a large open-air venue for a diverse range of performances. Originally a summer home for the Philadelphia Orchestra, today the Mann hosts instrumental music, jazz, opera, pop, dance, drumming, and ballet.

It has hosted many of the biggest-name pop and rock musicians, though many now perform at the larger Susquehana Bank Center in Camden instead. It holds up to 4,000 under the pavilion and up to 10,000 on the lawn and terrace.
