Route 1 runs through Chadds Ford and Kennett Square, and the area’s primary sights are just a short drive from one another along or near the main road.
At the heart of Chadds Ford, at the intersection of Routes 1 and 100, you’ll find the Chadds Ford Barn Shoppes, about a dozen shops including boutiques, an art gallery, an inn, and several restaurants.
Kennett Square also offers plenty of shopping, dining, and entertainment in a small-town setting. Be sure to sample some mushrooms while you’re in the “mushroom capital” (aka Kennett Square).
