The home of President James Buchanan for 20 years, it served as Democratic headquarters during the 1856 presidential campaign. Buchanan gave his first campaign address on the front lawn.
On a tour, you’ll see the restored home and grounds, and learn much about the era in American history when he lived and served as president.
