Dating from 1750, the building makes up in character what it lacks in fancy amenities. The nine-room bed-and-breakfast occupies a pretty residential street in Queen Village near South Street. The low-ceilinged rooms, at $105–150, are mostly furnished in colonial style and priced depending on their size.
Continental breakfast is served in the walled herb and rose garden, weather permitting. A working fireplace warms the living room in winter and in the afternoon tea, wine, and cheese are available daily.
There are no televisions in the rooms, but there is one in the common area.
