Dirty Frank’s
Trip Ideas

Dirty Frank’s is a total and complete dive, not one of those pseudo-dives that is actually kind of hip and only dive-y in an intentional way, but a real, true dive. The bartenders are aloof; the beer is cheap ($8 pitchers, and $2.50 bottles), and the crowd is down-to-earth.
The booths are torn; the walls are covered in graffiti; and the bathrooms—well, just avoid them if you can. But if you’re looking for a place to sit in a booth and kick a few back without going broke, this is a perfectly good place to do so.
The only touch of class is the mural on the outside consisting of famous Franks, including Frankie Avalon, Aretha Franklin, Franklin Delano Roosevelt, Frank Zappa, Frankenstein, St. Francis of Assisi, and Frank Sinatra.
