The entrées at North 3rd are of the traditional stick-to-your-ribs variety, but the preparation is surprisingly light and fresh.
The simple roasted chicken breast and mashed potatoes is supremely satisfying. The chorizo and chicken quesadilla with salsa fresca is another standout, and it’s a great place for groups to order several small plates to share.
Every square inch of the dimly lit bar and restaurant is covered with conversation pieces, from tribal masks and oil paintings by local artists to artifacts and even some tasteful taxidermy (believe it or not!).
